ANTICIPATED START DATE: Two weeks after candidate identification

TRAVEL: As required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position

ASRT, Inc. provides scientific, information management, management consulting, bioinformatics, and administrative program support to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other Federal and private sector clients. The successful candidate will be a full-time employee of ASRT, Inc., and will be assigned to the Healthy Aging Branch (HAB), Division of Population Health (DPH), National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (NCCDPHP), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) located at 4770 Buford Highway NE, Atlanta, GA, to provide evaluation services to HAB.

SCOPE OF WORK

The Evaluator will provide evaluation services to HAB.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and conduct realist evaluations of program and activities to assess impact with meeting program priorities and goals.
  • Design and conduct needs assessments and Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis to assist with providing technical assistance for staff and funded partners in order to maximize impact.
  • Analyze evaluation data and prepare reports on findings regarding program impact, including identifying areas for improvements and strengthening activities to meet goals and priorities.
  • Search, synthesize, and interpret information and evidence relevant to public health priorities.
  • Review literature, analyze studies, assess practice-based research, and collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to make recommendations for process, procedures, interventions, programs, and/or policies related to addressing public health programs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

  • Master's degree with graduate-level education in qualitative and quantitative health sciences.

Required:

  • At least 1 year of experience in evaluation of public health content.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Prior experience working in a similar capacity at CDC or in a public health setting preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to efficiently organize multiple priorities.

Language Skills:

  • The candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English

REQUIREMENT:

  • Must be United States citizen or permanent resident or have authorization for employment in the United States
