ASRT, Inc. provides scientific, information management, management consulting, bioinformatics, and administrative program support to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other Federal and private sector clients. The successful candidate will be a full-time employee of ASRT, Inc. and will be assigned to the Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention (DHDSP), National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (NCCDPHP) at CDC, 4770 Buford Highway NE, Chamblee Campus, Atlanta, GA 30341.

SCOPE OF WORK

The Program Management Analyst II will be identifying and analyzing public health issues and developing innovative methodologies and techniques that are critical to the successful implementation of the WISEWOMAN Program's state-based efforts. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with staff in the WISEWOMAN Program and across the Program Development and Services Branch to analyze public health issues and to develop innovative methodologies and techniques that are critical to the translation and dissemination of evidenced-based findings as it relates to the implementation of the WISEWOMAN Program.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as technical expert to PDSB on matters relating to extramural functions in the Division.
  • Provide advice and assistance related to acquisition processes and prepare solicitation documents for contracts and inter-agency agreements.
  • Coordinate conference calls and followed up on action items to ensure program objectives are being met according to guidelines.
  • Manage meeting logistics including designing, production and delivery all print and presentation materials needed for each meeting, venue selection and booking, tracking attendees, and all work needed to secure and support speakers.
  • Analyze and evaluation the effectiveness of program management operations in meeting established goals and objectives and proposing areas and methods by which efficiency of operations can be improved.
  • Evaluate policies and procedures to ensure that they are aligned with policies established at higher levels throughout the agency.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field with at least 3 years of experience in a relevant public health field.
  • Additional specific experience related to heart disease and stroke prevention, or management of chronic conditions is preferred.

Language Skills:

  • The candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

REQUIREMENT:

  • Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident or have authorization for employment in the United States.

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
