JOB TITLE: Document Processing Specialist

POSITION NUMBER: 2203-DPS-001

POSITION LOCATION: DC/MD Area, USA

ANTICIPATED START DATE: To Be Announced

TRAVEL: As required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position

ASRT, Inc. provides scientific, information management, management consulting, bioinformatics, and administrative program support federal and private sector clients. The successful candidate will be a full-time employee of ASRT, Inc. supporting the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

SCOPE OF WORK

The Document Processing Specialist downloads, performs data entry, uploads, scans, files, organizes regulatory documents and correspondence into regulatory documentation databases or systems as required.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates efforts associated with the preparation and processing of incoming and outgoing regulatory documents and submissions including mailing and tracking correspondence.

Education and Experience:

  • Preferred Minimum Experience: 1 year
  • Preferred Minimum Education: High School Diploma

Required:

  • Must be proficient in using MS Office or similar software, printing, and scanning programs.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) or the HHS family of agencies.
  • High School Diploma or its equivalent from an accredited institution.

Language Skills:

  • The candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

REQUIREMENT:

  • Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident or have authorization for employment in the United States.
  • Must be able to qualify for a public trust security clearance.

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
