TRAVEL: As required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position

ASRT, Inc. provides scientific, information management, management consulting, bioinformatics, and administrative program support federal and private sector clients. The successful candidate will be a full-time employee of ASRT, Inc. supporting the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

SCOPE OF WORK

The Project/Task Manager is responsible for individual projects day-to-day and the achievement of operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares and completes action plans.
• Implements production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
• Resolves problems.
• Completes audits; identifies trends; determines system improvements and implements change.
• Organizes, supervises, and trains project staff.
• Maintains continuous surveillance of project milestones and ensures budget compliance and compliance with the terms and conditions of the task order.

Education and Experience:

• Preferred Minimum Experience: 7 years including at least 5 years managing large projects.
• Preferred Minimum Education: Masters

Required:

• Federal contract project management experience required.

Desirable:

• Experience working with U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) or the HHS family of agencies.
• Masters or other advanced degree from an accredited institution.

Language Skills:

• The candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

REQUIREMENT:

• Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident or have authorization for employment in the United States.
• Must be able to qualify for a public trust security clearance.

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
